I received my BSc. in biology from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia, Canada and decades later got a teaching certificate from BYU. This is my fifteenth year teaching sixth grade, and my fifth year teaching an Accelerated Learning Lab. Favorite things to do? Waking up in the morning - I'm getting old - just waking up is a treat. I think my children and grandchildren are the best in the world so time with them is gold. Good books are fabulous, especially when read in Hawaii...or Italy...or Singapore.
