I grew up in American Fork, Utah in a family of six. I have two older brothers and one younger sister. My sister is my best friend! I have lived my entire life in Utah with the exception of one and a half years I spent living in central Florida. I love Utah! The variety of beautiful scenery is amazing. Utah mountains are my favorite. I enjoy traveling, especially to the coasts of Oregon and Washington. I would love to live near the coast, but family keeps me here. My dream vacation would be to tour Ireland. I hope to make it there one day. My other interests include family, music, hiking, camping, volleyball, reading, theatre, and doing cartwheels in the hall after school with Miss Lewis. Mrs. Saxton would do them with us, but she always has a dress on. What’s up with that?

I attended UVSC and graduated with a bachelors in Elementary Education. I taught first grade at Meadow Elementary for one year before coming to Saratoga Shores. I enjoy teaching! I always wanted to be a teacher. I remember holding “school” in our basement growing up. I loved giving my students (my friends and little sister) long lists of math problems to solve and sentences to copy. Since then, I have learned more effective teaching strategies and try to improve each year. Teaching 1st grade can be a challenge, but I absolutely love it!
